Climate change is one of the engines for finding new and sustainable technologies for the environment. Algae are one of the most sustainable micro / macro organisms with the greatest potential in biotechnology. Due to lack of basic knowledge, cultivation and cell processing technologies they cannot be widely applied. There is limited research on the bioelectric phenomena caused by the pulsed electric field. Research on bioelectric phenomena in algal cells would not only reveal new fundamental knowledge but would also have clear applications in industry.
