Mikro- ir nanolygmens biologiškai suderinamų paviršių raštų formavimas erdvėje lokalizuotais terminiais ir fotoniniais laukais |
Micro- and nanoscale patterning of biocompatible surfaces by spatially confined thermal and photonic fields |
Theme description
While solid state (semiconductor) lithography techniques are well established and are getting close to their theoretical limits, significant research effort is being dedicated towards the development of the alternative patterning techniques, in particular relating to the soft matter. Applications include novel biologinius sensors, biomimetic substrates for cell culturing, etc. In this project, the main attention will be focused towards the investigation of the interaction of the thermal and photonic fields confined to the micro- and nanoscale spatial dimensions with the thermo- and photo-responsive biocompatible materials, with the aim to understand. control and use for the patterning of the soft materials.
