Areas of activities of the laboratory of chemical coatings:
Study of properties of conversion coatings formed on aluminium surface by chemically or electrochemically in order to identify parameters that define the physic mechanical characteristics of coatings; based on the results of these studies to develop technologies allowing targeted changes of characteristics of formed coatings: hardness, resistance to abrasion and wear.
