EN - Deposition and investigation of precise metal-dielectric coatings 

Quantum Technologies (QT) is one of the priority directions of the European Union (EU) research roadmap. The chosen research and development topic must seize the opportunity and make the best and most strategic use of QT to improve the daily life and security of EU citizens. Nowadays, critical infrastructures and sensitive data are vulnerable to cyber-attacks and other security threats. Such date should be transferred on Earth and Space. For these complicated optical schemes there is a need in various optical elements that should be designed, prepared and tested. For example, ultrahigh reflective broadband mirrors or custom filters. Combination of metal and dielectric let to reach better specification then if to use such materials separately. The other critical area is health and biological investigation. This research is very important for improvement life quality. Here, for example, should be used various metal-dielectric plasmonic structures for biological reaction monitoring. The particular PhD theses will be related to the optimization of thin film manufacturing process. It will be necessary study in-deep the film growth. Moreover, after manufacturing it will be studied optical elements wok in real optical system.
