Full program covered three event:
1) Vilnius University - Lithuania laser association and laser and optics companies made presentation for students.
2) Center for Physical Sciences and Technology: Visits to laboratories of Department of Laser Technologies; Lectures on photonics activities at CPST: Discussion `with industry partners and student on all possibilities to collaborate and work with CPST on photonics and related topics, with a glass of campaign; Laser Show provided by Optronika; Coffee with industry partners.
3) “Café scentifique” with Prof Arturas Zukauskas – lecture–discussion on blue LED and Nobel price winners in Physics 2014.
According to the order of the Minister of Education and Science of the Republic of Lithuania No V-2117 of 10 November 2011 and implementing valley projects, established or renewed laboratories as well as laboratories currently dislocated in research and higher education institutions will work on the basis of an open access principle, i.e. their resources will be accessible not only for researchers, students or visiting scientists of these institutions but also for interested persons from other institutions or business enterprises.
In 2015 the National Centre of Physical and Technological Sciences
will be opened. It will be new premises of our Center.
