FTMC Fall Cross 2025: Welcome Back to the VU Botanical Garden!
We kindly invite you all to the active celebration of the scientific community - the FTMC Fall Cross - on 10 October 2025.
Partners of the event: VU Health and Sports Center and VILNIUS TECH Sports and Arts Center.
We will run (and walk) in the charming surroundings of the Botanical Garden of Vilnius University in Kairėnai. Most of the track is asphalted. After the run (and walk) we will treat all participants with hot Lithuanian buckwheat porridge with (and without) meat and tea.
If running is not your cup of tea, we invite you to choose the 3 km walking track! It's perfect for walking with Nordic walking poles, but it's also fine without them. Or, if you don't have them but would like to try them out, we'll have a dozen pairs of poles on site, so feel free to ask when you arrive!
The event is only for staff of academic institutions, not for students.
Venue: 43 Kairėnų St., Botanical Garden of Vilnius University, enter from the Japanese Garden ticket office. Convenient parking spaces are also available there.
Meeting time: 10 October, 11:30 (change of clothes if necessary; issue of numbers, warm-up exercise).
Start time: 12:00.
