Meeting of NATO Science and Technology Organization

From 27 February to 2 March, 2018, the Centre for Physical Sciences and Technology ( FTMC) hosted the Meeting of NATO Science and Technology Organisation, initiated by the Systems Concepts and Integration Panel work group SCI-294 on “Demonstration and Research of Effects of Radio Frequency Directed Energy Weapons on Electronically Controlled Vehicles, Vessels and UAVs”. Representatives from Germany, Denmark, the Netherlands, Norway, France, the UK and the USA together with scientists from FTMC participated in the meeting. Test results performed in different countries were presented and further activities were planned. The demonstration of the influence of radio frequency directed energy weapons on electronically controlled vehicles for the NATO decision makers has been scheduled for 2019.
