An event for the members of the Lithuanian Archaeology Society

October 10 4pm The Center for Physical Sciences and Technology together with the Lithuanian Archaeology Society invites members to the Open Day at Radiocarbon dating laboratory.
 
The purpose of the event is to introduce archaeologists to the latest technologies for radiocarbon samples dating and to see at a glance the state-of-the-art facilities for specimen analysis and measurement in Vilnius, to discuss which material analysis methods are relevant to archaeological research.
 
PROGRAM:

16:00 - 17:00 – Radiocarbon dating in Vilnius: Opportunities, Innovation, Cooperation (Dr. Vidmantas Remeikis, Dr. Žilvinas Ežerinskis)
 
17:00 - 18:00 - Quality First: Visit to the Accelerator Mass Spectrometry Laboratory. A visit to the lab will be followed by an informal discussion: How to we could achieve more together?
 
The event is only for members of the Lithuanian Archaeological Society.
 
Venue: Center for Physical and Technological Sciences, Saulėtekio al. 3 Vilnius, conference room A101. Parking in the nearby parking lot.
