Discussions on Science Diplomacy and Strengthening: Lithuania to Host its First International Science Week “(re) SEARCH 2025”

Lithuanian science today is global and competitive on an international scale, and scientific institutions are open to the world's most talented scientists and demonstrate leadership in various fields of science. However, changing global political, social, and business challenges are also changing the role and direction of science. Are we ready for this?

On October 15-17, Lithuania will host its first International Science Week, “(re) SEARCH 2025”, where leaders from science, business, government, and international institutions and organizations will come together to discuss these issues. One of the partners of the initiative is the Center for Physical Sciences and Technology (FTMC), which invites you to attend the event “Tech Transfer Unlocked: Bridging Ideas across the region and UK.”

The aim of the events to be held in Vilnius is to promote dialogue between the Lithuanian and international academic communities, politicians, the business and public sectors, and society, and to discuss ways and opportunities to strengthen the potential of research and innovation in addressing the challenges of a changing world.

Four significant events will take place during the International Science Week:

The latter event will take place on October 17 at 9:00 a.m. in the FTMC A101 Hall (Saulėtekio al. 3, Vilnius). The opening speech will be given by FTMC Director Prof. Dr Ramūnas Skaudžius, and FTMC scientists will also participate in the discussions. Free registration is available via this link
