FTMC Running Club's hot weekend: relay race and Vilnius Marathon

This weekend, members of the FTMC Running Club took part in two prestigious sports events in Vilnius. Our colleagues did not shy away from the record-breaking hot September days, but successfully overcame their challenges!

On Saturday, 7 September, Vingis Park hosted the running competition "The World's Fastest Run powered by Nord Security", where Remigijus Kančys broke the Lithuanian record for a 50-kilometre run.

One of the events was a 5x5 relay race, where our Center was represented by members of the FTMC Running Club - Yaraslau Padrez, Dr. Lena Golubewa, Dr. Renata Butkutė and Dr. Tomas Javorskis. For the first time in such a competition, they finished 6th among 8 teams, covering the distance in 03:37:17, with an average time of 4:42 minutes per kilometer.
