Turkish Ambassador Esra Toplu Visits FTMC

On 26 November, the Turkish Ambassador to Lithuania, Esra Toplu, visited FTMC. She was accompanied by members of the Turkey-Lithuania Chamber of Commerce: Sarp Demiray, Güven Çelikkaya, Ercüment Dursun, and Ahmet Demir.

FTMC Director Prof. Dr Ramūnas Skaudžius and Head of the Department of Dr Karolis Stašys introduced the guests to the Centrer’s activities and its most relevant ongoing research, and showed them several laboratories.

During the meeting, discussions focused on ways to strengthen scientific and economic cooperation between Lithuania and Turkey. FTMC also presented technologies that could be implemented with the support of Turkish industry – such as smart textiles and high-frequency communication tools.
