The Center for Physical Sciences and Technology announces an open competition for the following positions:
- Chief Researcher (job description)

Applicants wishing to participate in the competition are requested to submit the following documents:
- An application addressed to the Director of FTMC to participate in the competition, indicating the position applied for, together with a description of the submitted documents (Application form (sample)).
- A copy of an identity document, if the applicant has not previously had an employment relationship with FTMC.
- curriculum vitae.
- Copies of higher education and scientific degree documents, if the applicant has not previously had an employment relationship with FTMC.
- A five-year activity plan coordinated with the Head of the Research Department to which the applicant is applying.
- A list of scientific and science-popularization publications generated from the eLABa system (if unavailable in the eLABa system, the list shall be submitted in free format).
- Other documents supporting the applicant’s scientific qualifications, at the applicant’s discretion.
Documents must be submitted to the Personnel Department by September 14, 2026, via email at karjera@ftmc.lt., indicating the department you are applying to in the subject line.
Candidates who are unable to contact the head of the research department they are applying to regarding the alignment of the activity plan are invited to contact the Personnel Department by email at karjera@ftmc.lt.

The start date for the positions filled through the competition is January 2, 2027.
