Oro kokybės prognozės modelio tikslinimas taikant parametrizaciją ir tikslinius matavimus |
Improving air quality forecast by modelling and real-time measurement data parametrization |
Theme description
Most of the experimental researches conducted worldwide have revealed that an understanding of the processes governing air quality and climate change depends on synergy of improved measurement capabilities and the models. The Weather Research and Forecasting (WRF) model is a state-of-the-art atmospheric modelling system designed for both meteorological research and numerical weather prediction. From the models, WRF model with its photochemical grid model extension - Comprehensive Air Quality Model with Extensions (CAMx) is the most frequently used globally. Mesoscale models are fundamental tools to understand the complex and dynamic interactions between atmospheric chemistry and meteorology at multiple temporal and spatial scales. The aim of thesis will be to build a comprehensive modelling environment in order to analyze the interaction between the transport of pollutants and its transformation based on measurements data over both regional and local domains.
