On September 10-14, The International Conference on Photo-Excited Processes and Applications, organized by the FTMC was hosted in Vilnius. During the conference 163 presentations were presented (1 plenary, 15 invited talks, 53 oral and 94 poster presentations). The event was attended by scientists from 26 countries.

The conference guests visited companies UAB "Šviesos konversija", UAB "Ekspla" and laboratories of the FTMC Department of Laser Technologies.

The best student presentations were awarded with diplomas and prizes. The third-place awards for the posters were received by two PhD students of FTMC Department of Laser Technologies:

• Andrius Žemaitis for the poster "Rapid and high-quality 3D fabrication by efficient ultrashort laser ablation"
• Edgar Markauskas for the poster "Optimization of P3 Laser Process in CIGS Thin-Film Solar Cells"
