Konstantinas Leinartas The Corrosion Research Laboratory of the State research institute Center for Physical Sciences and Technology complies with the requirements of LST EN ISO/IEC 17025:2018 and has been accredited since December 2007 to carry out corrosion tests of metals and their alloys, anodic and cathodic metallic coatings, conversion coatings, anodic oxide coatings and organic coatings on metallic materials in neutral salt spray artificial atmosphere according to LST EN ISO 9227:2017. The Scope of Accreditation (Flexible) also covers an evaluation of coatings corrosion damages according to the LST EN ISO LST EN ISO 10289, LST EN ISO 4628 clauses 2, 3, 4, 5, 6 and 7. The last re-accreditation procedure of the CRL was completed at 10/2022: Accreditation Certificate Nr. LA.01.083 of The National Accreditation Bureau of Lithuania is valid until 26-10-2027. The CRL as accredited division participates in international Interlaboratory Comparisons (ILC) and Proficiency Test (PT) programs, which are obligatory external elements in the quality control of testing laboratories. In 2022 the CRL received the PT certificate from the Institut für Eignungsprüfung (IfEP GmbH) which organized a PT in the field “2206 Indirect verification of salt spray test chamber 2022” according to EN ISO 9227. |
