Įranga, programinė įranga ir metodai

Netiesinės dinamikos ir nanofizikos laboratorija

Netiesinės dinamikos, kvantiniams bei kinetiniams uždaviniams spręsti naudojami įvairūs analiziniai metodai (greito ir lėto procesų atskyrimo metodai, vidurkinimo metodas, fazinės redukcijos metodas ir kt.) bei  skaitmeninės analizės metodai (skaitmeniniai diferencialinių lygčių sprendimo algoritmai, Monte Karlo metodas ir kt.)

Fliuktuacinių reiškinių laboratorija

Unikalus nanosekundinis strobuojantis moduliacinis mikrobangų X/Ka ruožų radiometrinis stendas skirtas karštųjų elektronų fliuktuacijų mikrobangų ruože tyrimams. Matavimai atliekami naudojant koaksialinę zondų stotį (kambario temperatūroje) arba bangolaidžius (skysto azoto temperatūroje). Fliuktuacijos matuojamos tik trumpo impulso metu ir tai leidžia tirti kinetinius reiškinius puslaidininkiuose. Elektrinio lauko impulsų trukmė nuo 10 nanosekundžių iki 15 mikrosekundžių. Impulsų metu sudaromas stiprus elektrinis (iki ir virš 100 kV/cm). Džaulio pakaitimas esant trumpam impulsui tampa nežymus.

Voltfaradinių (50 kilohercų – 30 megahercų) bei voltamperinių charakteristikų matavimų stendas. Šie matavimai tinkami tranzistorių protakų elektronų dujų erdvinio pasiskirstymo vertinimui bei dvimačiam elektronų dujų tankiui rasti.  

Agilent–Süss–Maury spektrometras skirtas tranzistorių atsako, mikrobangės spinduliuotės galios ir fliuktuacijų spektrinių charakteristikų tyrimui 0.1 – 50 GHz dažnių ruože. Pagrindinė tyrimų kryptis – įvairialyčiai SiGe dvipoliai tranzistoriai, įvairialyčiai GaN lauko tranzistoriai.

Nanosekundinių aukštos įtampos impulsų stendas (impulsų trukmė 0,2...100 ns) yra naudojamas karštųjų elektronų dreifo greičio matavimui elektrinių laukų ruože iki 300 kV/cm, išvengiant protakos kaitinimo srove.

Daugiaprocesorinis (128) branduolių SGI UV 2000 serveris, skirtas lygiagretiems skaičiavimams MPI aplinkoje.


GADGET-3 – hibridinis SPH/N-kūnų algoritmu paremtas kodas (http://wwwmpa.mpa-garching.mpg.de/gadget), modifikuotas grįžtamojo ryšio įskaitymui žvaigždėdaros srityse.

  • Netiesinės dinamikos ir nanofizikos laboratorija
    Lietuvos mokslo taryba, projektas „Netiesinių sistemų sinchronizacijos ir chaoso valdymo algoritmai naudojant periodiškai perjungiamą uždelstą grįžtamąjį ryšį“, vadovas prof. K. Pyragas (2014–2017).
    Projekte nagrinėjami valdymo algoritmai su periodiškai perjungiamu uždelstu grįžtamuoju ryšiu ir jie taikomi chaoso valdymo problemose (nestabilių periodinių orbitų stabilizavimas), prognozuojančios sinchronizacijos uždaviniuose, bei neuroninių tinklų desinchronizavimo problemose.
  • Fliuktuacinių reiškinių laboratorija
    Lietuvos mokslo taryba, projektas “Galios ir patikimumo suderinamumas kvantinėse protakose”, vadovas prof. A. Matulionis (2016-2019).
    Projekte tiriami GaN ir jo (In,Al) mišriųjų kristalų ir daugeliu savybių panašių ZnO ir jo (Be,Mg) mišriųjų kristalų  dariniai su kvantinėmis protakomis. Siekiama optimizuoti didelio elektronų judrio tranzistorių kvantinių protakų galią ir jų patikimumą.
  • Elektroninės struktūros teorijos laboratorija
    M-ERA.NET projektas „Deimanto defektų panaudojimas nano-metrologijoje“ („MyND“), Lietuvos grupės vadovas – dr. Audrius Alkauskas, projekto koordinatorius – prof. Ruvin Ferber (Latvijos Universitetas) (2015–2018).
    Projektas vykdomas kartu su Latvijos Universiteto Lazerių Centru ir Latvijos Kietojo Kūno Fizikos Institutu. Projektas skirtas taškinių defektų deimante (taip vadinamų NV centrų) panaudojimui detektuoti kintančius magnetinius laukus.
  • Megasistemų fizikos laboratorija
    1. Lietuvos mokslo taryba, nacionalinės mokslo programos „Link ateities technologijų“ projektas „Mažos masės nykštukinių galaktikų evoliucija“, vadovas prof. V. Vansevičius (2016–2018).
    Projekto tikslas – atskleisti izoliuotų galaktikų, esančių mažos masės tamsiosios materijos haluose, evoliuciją nuo ankstyvosios Visatos iki šių dienų.

    2. Lietuvos mokslo taryba, projektas „Žvaigždėdara galaktikų diskuose: globali ar lokali?“, vadovas dr. D. Narbutis (2015–2018).
    Projekte siekiama nustatyti galaktikos NGC598 žvaigždėdaros diske erdvinius ir dinaminius parametrus suderintai naudojant antžeminiais ir kosminiais teleskopais gautą stebėjimų medžiagą.
